    For cushion and coverage, 1 bag of Paper Shavings is comparable to 1 1/2 to 2 bags of wood shavings.  The amount of Paper Shavings is a personal preference as to the depth of bedding needed for each individual animal as well as their confinement habits.
One bag will bed a 10x12 stall,even though it may not look that it will be enough, once the animal moves around the bedding will fluff and build volume. 
The bags are packed with 12 cu.ft. of bedding.
